So, I've been on the internet for a while and I always noticed, no matter what fandom it is, there is at least one theme video. For those who are naïve the subject, theme videos are when the creator comes up with a theme song for a few characters. Many of these are fitting and usually amazing. I actually have done some on my YouTube account for me and my friends ocs. But, what happens when the song doesn't fit the character. At all. Now, I've seen a lot of "pun " theme videos but the fandom I've seen this done the worst in has to be the Kuroshitsuji fandom. Mainly with my two favorite characters in the show, Madam Red and Sebastian.
Most of the time the creator makes Madam Red's theme Miss Murder by Afi just because, spoilers, she turns out to be kind insane and murderess and Sebastian's theme is almost always Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake because of the fangirls. and these don't fit! first of all, if you've ever heard Miss Murder you know that it isn't what the title suggest, it's more or less the story of how a deity left his people behind. NOT about some female psychopath. and Madam Red isn't just that! She is somewhat tragic but everyone is like "Nope, she's just crazy, lolz." which I find plain moronic.
But Sebastian's theme is surprisingly more insulting! And it's even more popular. WHY?! He isn't just a character for fangirls to be all "OMG, SO HAWT!!!" He is one of the most cunning manipulator characters in anime, and even in fiction in general! Why?! WHY?!
